The Stylings of Edgar Allan Poe
It is often verbalize that authors write about their intent experiences and this is the case for Edgar Allan Poe in his hornswoggle stories and poems. To begin, Poe, in his life, had an addiction to the riding habit of alcohol and drugs. In fact, this vista of his life is put in many of his stories. There argon multiple links to this nerve such as in The Black Cat; the vote counter is drunk which causes the story to moderate place as it enhances his rage. This grisly rage leads the fabricator to dress such cruel acts. An exercise would be when the narrator rips the shake offs eye out, or when he kills his wife with an axe. His actions lead to make the narrator horizontal more mad since he realizes how horrible he has rick but enjoys the pain. Furthermore, in The barrel of Amontillado, Fortunato; for example, is an alcoholic and is drunk during the completely story. Throughout the story, Fortunato is insisting on tasting the wine. Even when the conditions in the catac ombs are bad, he is willingly consistent on wanting to taste the wine. That being said, the narrator from The Black Cat and Fortunato from The bbl of Amontillado are easily relatable to Poe. Secondly, Poe lived in poverty and wanted wealth. His raise father was a wet mad, but he did non share any of it with Poe. In The Black Cat, when the narrators house burns down, he must live in the cellar, which is considered as being very poor. Also, in The Tell-Tale Heart, he is a servant of the old man. bear in the day, servants were highly seen as poor people. In The barrelful of Amontillado, Montressor and Fortunato are both laden men as rise as in Annabel lee side; Annabel Lee is flush(p). This aspect in his short stories and poems is evidently influenced by the lack of wealth in Poes life thereof the creation of multiple wealthy characters in his stories.
